In All Forms is planned and presented by the Melbourne Polytechnic Advanced Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design graduating students.
I wish to congratulate the Advanced Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design class of 2024!
In All Forms is a testament to the countless hours you've spent honing your craft, experimenting with new techniques, and pushing the boundaries of your imagination. Each piece on display tells a story of perseverance, innovation, and the unique vision that you bring to the world of jewellery and object design.
You’ve learned to turn obstacles into opportunities, and in doing so, you’ve grown not only as artists but as individuals. The work you’ve produced is a reflection of this growth—diverse in form, rich in concept, and technically accomplished.
In All Forms is a fitting title for this exhibition, as it captures the essence of your work—the diversity, the complexity, and the beauty of the forms you’ve created. It also speaks to the many forms your future careers will take, whether you continue to explore traditional techniques or forge new paths in the industry.
As you move into the professional world of jewellery and object making, you’ll have with you the knowledge, skills, and experiences. But more importantly, carry with you the passion that has fuelled your creativity and the curiosity that has driven you to explore new possibilities.
On behalf of the faculty and everyone who has supported you along this journey, I want to say how incredibly proud we are of each and every one of you. Your dedication and hard work have led you to this moment, and I have no doubt that you will continue to achieve great things in the future.
Congratulations to the class of 2024! May this exhibition be the first of many successes in your bright and promising careers.
