Finding interesting objects to cast is my favourite practice. My designs are influenced by pop culture and can often be nostalgic and fun to wear. Growing up in the 90s rave and club culture, it’s fashion and music were influential and I try to bring some of this energy into my work. Music has always been important, so my ‘ME SING SE’ series comes from song lyrics I’ve listened to over the years.

Horrified by the weekly news of murder and violence towards women, lately I have been making pieces that speak about this epidemic. The use of childhood toys and rhymes is in reference to the innocence of childhood in contrast to the brutality of these actions.
