Idyllic touchstones in faith and life, designed to emulate, evoke, or elevate. I’ve traveled overseas from America and Australia to study in these lands and learn from new cultures. I’ve found there is something delicate in the watching, the noticing, and the knowledge within materials. Each of us are in a dynamic process of learning and listening. We are active, growing and organic. All in an intimate collaboration with ourselves and the earth and minerals which nurture, heal, and teach us. In this growing process of our incompleteness, we partake in dynamic identification. Jewellery making to me has been about partaking in a beautiful language, a way in which we can communicate our ideals, dynamically growing more into completeness with ourselves and others. These are not only our objects of affectons, but of our personal convictions and our material reflections. We are energy, and in our listening and noticing, we’ve curated bodies of recognition which guide us, heal us, and inspire us.
